Terms of Service

Last updated: 26 September 2026
These terms cover your use of Studyle (the app and studyle.in), provided by Vermax Labs, India. By creating an account or logging in, you agree to them.

Using the service

Studyle provides software to manage a library: students, attendance, seating, shifts, membership plans, payments, receipts, expenses and reports.
A library owner account manages one centre. Student accounts are created by that centre and can see only their own information.

Who can use Studyle

You must be at least 13 years old to use Studyle.
A student aged 13 to 17 may use Studyle only with the consent of a parent or guardian. The library that creates the student account is responsible for obtaining and keeping that consent.

Centre responsibility

The centre owner is responsible for the accuracy of the records they enter, for how they use student data, for confirming payments truthfully, and for any policies they apply to their students.
Studyle is a tool. It does not collect fees, hold money, or act as a party to any payment between a student and a centre.

Student responsibility

Keep your login private. Use your digital ID and QR only for identifying yourself at your own centre.
Check in honestly. Do not attempt to access another student’s information.

Reporting issues and feedback

You can report a problem at your centre and leave centre feedback. Report honestly and keep descriptions civil — do not submit abusive content, spam, or repeated identical reports.
An anonymous issue hides your identity from centre staff in the app; it is still associated with your account for security and abuse prevention. The centre decides how and when to act on a report.
Feedback is shared with your centre without your name. It is not a public review and is not shown to other students.

Location-based attendance

A centre may require that students are at the centre to mark attendance. Whether this applies to you is set by your centre.
When it applies, marking attendance reads your device location once, at that moment, so the server can confirm you are within the area the centre configured. It is not continuous tracking and is described in the Privacy Policy.
If you deny the location permission you can still use the rest of the app, and your centre can record your attendance manually.

Payments and receipts

Payments are recorded and confirmed by the centre. A receipt is generated only for a payment the centre has confirmed, and reflects the details at that time. Studyle does not verify that money actually changed hands.
A receipt is a record, not a tax invoice, unless your centre issues it as one.

Studyle subscription (centre owners)

A new centre gets a 30-day free trial with no card required. To keep using Studyle after that, the owner buys a plan. Plans, prices and billing are described in the Subscription Terms (studyle.in/subscription).
Payments to Studyle are processed by Google Play (in the Android app) or Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking). Studyle never receives or stores your card, UPI or bank details.
A Google Play subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in Google Play. A Razorpay payment buys one period and does not renew automatically.
If a plan ends without renewal, the owner can still sign in and view the centre’s data, but cannot make changes until the plan is renewed.
Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy (studyle.in/refund).

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break access controls, disrupt the service, scrape data, resell access, upload unlawful or abusive content, or use it for anything unlawful.

Account security

You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised. You can change your password in Settings.

Availability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee it, and maintenance or outages may occur.

Suspension and termination

A centre owner may stop using Studyle at any time, and can delete their account and centre from the app (see studyle.in/delete-account).
We may suspend or end an account or centre for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, for fraud or abuse of the platform, or where the law requires it. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

Intellectual property

The Studyle app, website, name, logo and design belong to Vermax Labs. You may not copy, modify or redistribute them except as needed to use the service.
Your data stays yours: a centre owns the records it enters, and students own their own information. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Studyle is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from records the centre entered, from a centre’s decisions, or from a payment dispute between a student and a centre.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to a centre owner for any claim is limited to the amount they paid Studyle in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
If you have a complaint, please contact support@studyle.in first — most problems can be solved quickly that way. Any dispute that cannot be resolved will be handled by the competent courts in India.

Changes

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version. For important changes we will also tell centre owners in the app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
