# How Studyle works

> Studyle is library management software for India, made by Vermax Labs. Owners of libraries, reading rooms, self-study halls and coaching centres run seats and shifts, attendance, fees and reports from one Android app and the web, and every student gets their own login.

1. **Create your centre:** add the centre's details, seats and shifts.
2. **Add students and seats:** create a student record, assign a membership and a seat; their digital ID is ready.
3. **Run daily attendance:** mark attendance by shift and date, or let students check in with a QR code or a location check.
4. **Manage payments:** record payments, track dues and generate a receipt from the same screen.
5. **Track expenses:** log the centre's running costs separately from student payments.
6. **Understand your centre:** reports show collections, attendance and occupancy.
